Implant dentures (overdentures) are removable or fixed prosthetics anchored by 2–6 dental implants placed in the jawbone. Unlike conventional dentures, they cannot slip or shift during eating or speaking. The implants also stimulate the jawbone, preventing the bone loss that typically occurs with traditional dentures.
Anchored securely — no slipping or clicking
Restore full chewing efficiency (up to 70% better than conventional dentures)
Preserve jawbone by stimulating it like natural tooth roots
More comfortable — reduced gum pressure
Improved speech and confidence
Removable versions are easy to clean
CBCT scan assesses bone volume. A treatment plan is created detailing implant number, position and prosthesis type.
2–6 titanium implants are surgically placed into the jawbone under local anaesthesia or sedation.
Implants are allowed to osseointegrate (fuse with bone) over 3–6 months. A temporary prosthesis is worn.
The custom overdenture is connected to the implants via ball attachments or locator systems, and fit is verified.
