Tooth Extraction
MDS Specialists · ISO 9001 Certified
Tooth extraction is performed when a tooth cannot be saved by other means — due to severe decay, infection, crowding or impaction. Our oral and maxillofacial surgeons handle everything from simple extractions to complex surgical removal of impacted wisdom teeth, using atraumatic techniques that minimise post-operative swelling and pain.
Immediate relief from severe tooth pain
Atraumatic technique — minimal trauma to socket
Same-day appointment available
Expert management of impacted wisdom teeth
Post-extraction implant planning offered
Clear aftercare instructions and follow-up
Periapical or panoramic X-ray maps root morphology, bone levels and proximity to nerves / sinuses.
Computer-controlled local anaesthesia numbs the tooth and surrounding area. Sedation available for anxious patients.
Periotomes and elevators gently expand the socket and loosen the periodontal ligament attachment.
Forceps deliver the tooth with controlled, minimal force. Surgical extractions involve a small gingival incision and bone removal if needed.
The socket is irrigated, compressed and sutured if required. Haemostatic gauze is placed and biting instructions given.
